The Inaugural Function of the 1st International Agrobodiversity Congress shall be held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi
 
   
  New Delhi, the capital of India, houses India’s premier Conference Centre – Vigyan Bhawan. It has hosted many historical and politically important summits, seminars and conferences, such as NAM (Non Aligned Movement) conference, the CHOGM (Common Wealth Heads of Government Meet) etc.  
 
  The centre has a Plenary hall, having a seating capacity from over 1200 delegates and 6 smaller halls having a capacity from over 65 delegates to over 375 delegates. In addition, there is a VIP Lounge, the Office block for on-site offices / secretariat / documentation centre etc., a Studio, a Business centre an Exhibition hall and a separate Media centre in the annexe building.  
 
  In terms of facilities, the centre is fully equipped with professional and state-of-the-art Audio-Visual features, a 12 channel, simultaneous interpretation system, Recording facilities and more, backed with fire safety and security provisions.  
 
  The Atrium at the centre, provides for a centrally located venue for F & B services, which is managed by The Ashok group of I.T.D.C, who provide exclusively designed menus for national and international participants. read more...

  The Technical Sessions, Poster Presentations, Plenary Sessions and Exhibitions of the 1st International Agrobodiversity Congress shall be held in the Conference Facilities of the National Agricultural Science Center (NASC), Pusa.  
   
  National Agriculture Science Centre is a prestigious Complex located on the main Dev Prakash Shastri Marg at a strategic location in the New Delhi area of Pusa campus.  
 
  Built by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, the venue is spread over an area of around 22 acres with multi-dimensional state of the art facilities like a National Agricultural Museum, Symposia Complex, large underground parking, offices of the International and national organizations of agricultural research, National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS), Association of Agricultural Universities of India, Podium, lush green large landscapes and an International Guest House fully centrally air conditioned comprising of 76 single/double  rooms and 22 suites each fitted with modern facilities, telephone, Internet, TVs, etc.  In addition, the International Guest House has a large lobby, cafeteria, a separate VIP and common dining room, pantries, modernized kitchen with state of art gadgets and Solar heating system, indoor games center and tennis court etc. read more...

From Indira Gandhi International Airport
You may board the Delhi Metro Airport Express Line from the airport and land swiftly at New Delhi Station. From here, take the yellow line going towards Huda City Centre and drop off at Rajiv Chowk. Further, you will have to take the blue line going towards Dwarka and drop off at Shadipur/ Patel Nagar Metro Station. From New Delhi Railway Station
